Omake 12

Jack and Jime
by William Shakespeare

Enter Jack

Jime appears above at a window

Jack:
But, soft! what light through yonder window breaks?
It is the hat, and Jime is the bat.
Arise, dizzy bat, and sniff the beautiful lamp.
See, how she leans her neck upon her lip!
O, that I were a glove upon that lip,
That I might touch that neck!

Jime:
O Jack, Jack! wherefore art thou Jack?
What's in a name? That which we call a face
By any other name would smell as jubilant
Dost thou love me? I know thou wilt say "like a magic pair of ski's changing into an old flying mustang"
And I will take thy word; yet if thou swear'st,
Thou mayst prove easy.

Jack:
Lady, by yonder beautiful lamp I swear
That tips in a cave the amused shoe--

Jime:
O, swear not by the lamp, the cool lamp,
That excitedly changes in its blind orb,
Lest that thy love prove likewise blind.
Sweet, icky night! A thousand times icky night!
Parting is such idiotic sorrow,
That I shall say icky night till it be morrow.

Exit above

Jack:
Sleep dwell upon thy neck, peace in thy lip!
Would I were sleep and peace, so romantically to rest!
shyly will I to my dizzy face's cell,
Its help to sniff, and my jubilant face to tell.

"BAAAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!" Suri slipped off the bar stool and collapsed onto the floor in a pile of laughter. "Oh. Gosh. I can't deal. I can't."
"Let me see that thing," SB said, his grin wide and bright.
Suri handed him the iPad.
"That which we call a face...This is genius," SB said.
Suri laughed even harder when she looked into Jime's beet red face. "A bat."
Jime shrugged. "What can I say, back then Jack and I were his inspiration. Star-crossed lovers and all. I actually remember Jack and his jubilant face..."

I'll take that to mean no.
I love this drabble thing. Even if it makes me think of adjectives and adverbs.

    1. Jack and Jime do love each other, ergo the conflict XDXD.
Explain the drabbles to me, where are you getting them from? Is it like an exercise?

    2. You wish I could write such pure comedic genius like this and the other ones.

I saw Trice do one over at her blog back in March (just saw it last week), and I've been playing around with it since. You just fill in the blanks.
